LaserCraft Technologies, Inc. - History
In late 1996, LaserCraft founder Rodney Greene, rented 3,000 square feet and took delivery of his first Mazak laser which he ran himself. After two years of building the business, LaserCraft moved into a 30,000 square foot facility in Gainesville, Georgia. At that time, welding and fabricating processes were added. Also, another Mazak laser was purchased and the company grew to 40 employees.
Jody Greene, initially and investor in LaserCraft, came on full time in 1999 to handle the financial and human resources aspects of the business which allowed Rodney time to concentrate on production, sales, and service.
In December of 2006, LaserCraft relocated to their 92,000 square foot facility. At that time, LaserCraft purchased the assets of both N&S Machine Co, Inc. and Hi-Tech Fab, Inc. and brought on industry veteran business owners Larry Walker and Everette Greene to assist with the expanded fabricating and machining capabilities of the now significantly larger LaserCraft Technologies.
